About Us

Who we are.

The Big Red Woodshop gets its name from the old red barn on our family property that houses the woodshop.

Troy Bradley is the main woodworker in the shop at the moment.

He is a husband to an amazing woman who challenges him everyday to live with a passion and serve others.
He is a father of three wonderful kids who drives him crazy at times, but likes it when they come to the shop.
Former educator of 12 years. He worked as a homeless liaison for the county schools, taught social studies, English, carpentry and woodworking during that time.
All of these things inform his passion for helping others, teaching and woodworking.

Where we are.

We are located in Hendersonville, NC in an old red barn in the beautiful mountains of Western North Carolina.

We create custom furniture and home décor on an individual basis for each customer. Everything is built to order!

Where we are going.

While are currently only taking local commissions we hope to be able to offer some custom furniture pieces in local shops in the surrounding area in 2023. We always want to be growing like our community. So...
